About Me
I’ve been working with clay for over 40 years, and it’s been a constant thread through my life. Along the way, I’ve been an entrepreneur, teacher, mentor and executive arts administrator. I’ve spent 14 years helping expand access to the arts and creating spaces to uplift community.
In 2012, I founded Indigo Fire Studio—Boston’s first retail clay studio—where I had the joy of teaching hundreds of students and building a warm, welcoming community of makers. I later served as Executive Director of ArtSpace, developing programs, growing membership, and curating exhibitions that brought people together through art.
These days, you’ll find me in my studio at Western Ave, making pottery for my small business, Suchi’s Table. My online product line up includes block print table linens and handmade crafts from India. View the SHOP
I live north of Boston in a small town with my husband and our dog. The kids are grown and mostly launched. Outside of work we travel and spend time with family.
I’d love for you to stop in during Open Studios in Lowell or join a workshop. Learn more about workshops and private lessons HERE
