About Me

I’ve been working with clay for over 40 years, and it’s been a constant thread through my life. Along the way, I’ve been an entrepreneur, teacher, mentor and executive arts administrator. I’ve spent 14 years helping expand access to the arts and creating spaces to uplift community.

In 2012, I founded Indigo Fire Studio—one of Boston’s first retail clay studio —where I immersed myself in teaching hundreds of students and building a welcoming community of makers. Later, I was the Business Manager at the New Art Center and most recently served as Executive Director of ArtSpace. I currently serve on the Board of Lexington Arts & Craft.

These days, you’ll find me in my studio at Western Ave. where I’ve finally carved out time to focus on my ceramics. My work is functional and meant to be used in everyday life. As someone who enjoys food, I think a lot about how a piece will be used in those small moments. My work is for sale in the Loading Dock Gallery, on this website (although limited) and in my studio during Western Ave Open Studios each month.

I live in a small countryside town north of Boston with my husband and our dog. The kids are grown and mostly launched. Outside of work we seek out great food, travel and spend time with family.
